Choose your GP consultation
Choose the consultation that best matches your main reason for booking. If your concerns span multiple areas—or you're simply not sure where to start—we recommend booking a General Women's Health consultation. Your GP will take the time to understand the bigger picture and guide your care from there.

Medicare rebates
Where available, Medicare rebates can help reduce the cost of your appointment.
GP consultation rebates
Two things affect whether you can claim
What your consultation is about
Medicare telehealth rebates currently apply to eligible women's, sexual and reproductive health consultations. Consultations outside these areas may not qualify.
Which GP you see
Medicare eligibility can vary depending on the GP you see. Rebate eligibility is shown on each clinician's profile.
Allied health and specialist rebates
Medicare rebates may be available for eligible gynaecology, psychology and dietetics consultations when the appropriate referral or care plan is in place.
Some care plans may need to be arranged through your regular GP. If you're unsure what's required, our care team will be happy to help.
Questions about Medicare rebate eligibility?
Claiming your rebate
Medicare
If your consultation is eligible, we'll give you an invoice to submit to Medicare. The rebate is paid back to you directly.
Private health insurance
Many private health funds offer rebates for telehealth consultations. Cover varies between funds and policies, so it's worth checking with your insurer about what you can claim.
Referrals and care plans
For gynaecology, psychology and dietetics rebates, you'll need a referral and care plan. Your usual GP, or your Hazel GP can put this in place during your appointment.
The time you need, with a women's health specialist
Every Hazel consultation is one-on-one time with a specialist in women's health, whether that's a GP, gynaecologist, psychologist, naturopath, sexologist or dietitian. No rushed appointments, no being passed around. Just the time and attention your health deserves.
