OUR SPECIALTIES

Find the right specialist for you

Whether you know exactly what you need or you're not sure where to start, our team is here to help. Explore each specialty below, or begin with a Women's Health GP who can guide your care.

Medical Women's Health

Your starting point for most things. Hazel GPs are women's health specialists who look at how your symptoms connect, investigate properly, and build a plan with you.

Gynaecological, menstrual, sexual and hormonal health, perimenopause and menopause, and the conditions that often go unrecognised.

Gynaecology

Specialist gynaecological care for complex and persistent conditions, when your care needs a deeper level of investigation and expertise.

Psychology

Evidence-based therapy with psychologists who understand how closely women's health and mental health are tied together.

Support for anxiety, low mood, trauma, and the emotional weight of living with chronic symptoms.

Naturopathy

Naturopathic care that works alongside your medical treatment, not instead of it. Evidence-informed support across nutrition, herbal medicine, and targeted testing, integrated into one plan.

Dietetics

Practical, evidence-based nutrition support shaped around your symptoms and goals. Care for hormonal health, metabolic health, and conditions like endometriosis, PCOS and menopause.

Sexology

Specialist support for pain, intimacy, libido and sexual function. A clinical, judgement-free space for the conversations that are hard to have anywhere else.

What Hazel is, and isn’t for

We're built for menstrual, hormonal, pelvic, sexual, and gynaecological health, perimenopause and menopause, and the mental health and nutrition that connect to them.

We're not a fertility or IVF clinic, and we're not built for general health needs outside women's health, urgent or emergency care, or in-person treatment. If something falls outside what we do, we'll always point you in the right direction.

Care that's connected

In most healthcare, you're the one holding it all together. Repeating your history at every appointment. Carrying results between providers. Hoping someone joins the dots.

Hazel works differently. Your clinicians share one set of notes, so your story moves with you. Your GP can bring in psychology, naturopathy, dietetics or a specialist as your care needs them, and everyone is working from the same plan.

One team. One record. One plan that adjusts as your symptoms change.

Frequently asked questions

How do I book?

GP appointments can be booked online, anytime. For gynaecology and allied health, contact our care team and they'll help you find the right clinician and time.

Can I see more than one type of clinician?

Yes, and many patients do. Your Hazel GP can bring in psychology, naturopathy, dietetics, sexology or a specialist as your care needs them. Because the team shares one set of notes, you won't have to repeat your story each time.

Can I claim Hazel services through Medicare or private health insurance?

It depends on your health insurance provider and policy. Some funds offer rebates for services like psychology or naturopathy, so it’s a good idea to check with your insurer to see if you're eligible. Hazel does not process insurance claims directly, but we can provide you with invoices for you to submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

Do I need a referral to see an allied health clinician?

No referral is needed to book. A referral and care plan from your GP can mean you're eligible for a Medicare rebate on some allied health services, but you're welcome to book without one.

Does Hazel offer fertility or IVF support?

No. Hazel is a specialist women's health service, but we don't provide fertility, conception or IVF care. If that's what you're looking for, our care team can help point you in the right direction.

Can I access different types of specialists through Hazel?

Yes, and this is one of the things we're proudest of. Hazel has a full in-house team of women's health clinicians: GPs, gynaecologists, psychologists, naturopaths, sexologists and dietitians, all collaborating on your care under one roof. Beyond our team, we have a referral network of trusted in-person services and specialists nationwide, so your care can extend wherever you need it to go.
