No. Hazel is a specialist women's health service that works in conjunction with your GP, not in place of them. Your GP looks after the full picture of your health; Hazel focuses specifically on the women's health concerns that benefit from dedicated time and expertise.
Not all women menstruate and not all who menstruate are women.
Throughout our website, we reference ‘women’ to highlight bias and under-researched conditions in healthcare. However, we recognise that many of those affected don’t identify as female. At Hazel, we affirm all pronouns and gender identities and our services are available to anyone assigned female at birth, transgender women, and non-binary individuals.
