Will it cause any discharge or mess?
A little discharge is completely normal after using a suppository. Once inserted, the suppository melts and is absorbed through the vaginal or rectal lining, but the base material (natural fats and oils) doesn’t fully absorb and may leak from the vaginal canal over the next few hours.
You might notice a light oily residue or slight staining on underwear or clothing. To prevent mess or staining, you may want to wear a liner or pad after insertion, especially during the day or overnight.
